He was a good-looking man with sharp blue eyes and short blond hair, cleanly cut. It was easy to imagine the man was a football player before the apocalypse.

"I’m not sure about that, Manny." A blonde woman with trembling hazel eyes said.
"You have Sarah to back you up. We discussed this." Manny said.
"I think you should just leave." Sarah said in a trembling voice.

Reina turned around and walked out the door. Manny tried to summon magic and hit her, but it was blocked every time.
She walked down the steps of the dilapidated building that she was in and walked to the park with a broken expression.
The thought that she’d have to expose Manny’s lies on the day Leon showcased pain for the first time made her sick.
Tears dropped from her eyes as she walked to the park with a lonely expression, concerned that people would accept her.
She had never felt close to anyone before. Her lies always put people at arm’s length, never letting anyone get near her. Now she felt like she had a chance but didn’t believe it, just like she didn’t believe anything people said窶覇xcept Leon.
Leon wasn’t some superhero. He was scum. The guy just went through a wasteland, murdering people arbitrarily, unconcerned of the 20% of men or more that were ignorant or seeking asylum.
However, he was good to her. The man was the only person that made her feel like she might have a place to belong. Now, she was afraid he wouldn’t want to speak to her, and everyone would reject her.
When she saw the park, she turned around with a panicked expression and tried walking away.

She didn’t hear the men running out of buildings or the chaos of people trying to find their party members. Everything felt like a surreal dream.

Reina felt two hands on her shoulders, shaking her lightly. She looked up and saw Leon staring at her. She looked around and saw Caitlyn, Lindy, Tricksie, Kazz, Mindy, Mirth, Cynthia, Quinn, and all the other major management and military members.
"Reina. Come back home." Leon said while hugging her, "This is your city."
She accepted the hug and began crying on his shoulder.
"Why are you so good to someone like me?" Reina cried in disbelief.
"Regina, even if the slight emotions I have for you are fake, I still care about you." Leon said while holding her close, "And you’ve proved that you’re worth at least that much."
