Qiu Tong nodded and snatched the walkie-talkie over. She found a relatively safe corner and sat down. She cleared her throat and gave instructions. “Everyone, don’t linger in battle. We aim to exhaust the enemy’s ammunition. Disperse and attack the enemy. Delay their attack speed!”
“Send a small team to guard the power source of the electric net. Snipers occupy the high ground. Do not let any enemy near the main entrance.”
Qiu Tong had clear plans for the remaining guards and placed them in the precise positions.
As Qiu Tong’s plan was executed, the Vulture Organization’s assault speed clearly slowed down. Their casualties were increasing. Yu Ge sat in the command vehicle and shouted at them, “Charge! Don’t retreat!”
Bo Lang looked at his crazed expression and used his eyes to signal his subordinates to fall to the back and watch.
Terrence felt a headache coming on as he rubbed his temples. He knew that he could do nothing to dissuade Yu Ge at this moment, so he simply let it be.
Relying on Qiu Tong’s tactics, the guards manage to hold out for two hours. Everyone was exhausted and it was difficult to even pull a trigger.
The members of the Vulture Organization slowly approached the villa and tried to lure Qiu Tong and Jin Yang out.
Jin Yang and Qiu Tong sat behind the sofa with their backs to each other. They used the furniture to construct a fortress-like structure to block the gun fire from the other side. Qiu Tong picked up the submachine gun and magazine and whispered, “I don’t regret meeting you.”
Jin Yang’s eyes sparkled. He hugged her neck and kissed her red lips. “This might be our last chance to speak. I want to tell you that I love you, Qiu Tong!”
This desperate confession made their eyes glisten with tears.
The sound of footsteps could be heard behind him as Qiu Tong raised her gun. Song Yan staggered backward with an iron plate in his hand. “It’s me!”
“I thought you guys needed help. I didn’t expect you to still have the time to confess your love for each other.”
“Keep your lives and you can say those words in the future…”
Song Yan picked up a gun from the ground and sat cross-legged beside Qiu Tong.
Jin Yang saw that he was a little stunned and asked anxiously, “Where are the children?”
Song Yan gritted his teeth and tightened the bandage around his waist. Large beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, and his body trembled uncontrollably. However, he forged on as he said, “They’re hiding in the bomb shelter in the basement. With Qiu Rong protecting them, they don’t need me.”

A machine gun suddenly fired from the opposite side of the entrance. Jin Yang bent down and held Qiu Tong’s gaze as he elegantly raised the muzzle and took aim. A single bullet pierced through the middle of the other party’s eyebrows. The sound of gunfire was temporarily halted.
Song Yan recalled some childhood memories and said mockingly, “Back then, Dad was willing to teach only you how to shoot.”
“He said that I’m playful and not someone who can control my temper.”
Song Yan sneered as he lifted his gun. He aimed it at Jin Yang, and pulled the trigger.
The bullet brushed past Jin Yang and flew straight into the heart of a Vulture member who had sneaked in. He fell to the ground with his eyes widened. Even in death, he didn’t expect anyone to have such fast and accurate marksmanship and nimble judgment.
Jin Yang frowned and stared at him. Song Yan smiled contemptuously as he loaded the gun.
“He doesn’t know that my slingshot has always been accurate!”
A sense of helplessness rose in Qiu Tong’s heart when she heard their conversation.
The members of the Vulture Organization were gathered at the entrance. The other party had determined the corner where Jin Yang and the rest were. They surged in and shot indiscriminately. Qiu Tong took out her dagger, quickly and nimbly slitting the necks of everyone who approached, so that they could save some bullets.
Yu Ge couldn’t bear it anymore. He pushed open the door of the command vehicle and snatched the gun from the bodyguard beside him. He walked towards the villa.
Song Yan’s wound had split open. He couldn’t support himself as he leaned against the sofa and panted.
Jin Yang looked at him and said with concern, “Hide and rest for a while. Leave this to me.”
Song Yan curled his lips into a mocking smile and retorted weakly, “I’m afraid you’ll aim the gun at me!”
While the two of them were bickering, Yu Ge jumped in from the window. He aimed the gun at Song Yan and said loudly, “Go to hell!”
Jin Yang looked over at the voice. Without hesitation, he pounced toward Song Yan and shielded him.
The bullet entered Jin Yang’s left chest, and his pupils dilated. Song Yan didn’t even have time to think. He looked at Jin Yang’s face and stammered in disbelief, “Why! Why did you save me?”
Qiu Tong ran over from afar. Jin Yang smiled brightly at her and said to Song Yan, “You’re my younger brother.”
“Promise me that you’ll take care of Qiu Tong and the children for me. Don’t make them sad…”
