680 Going Out Shopping

Bai Xi Xi woke up in the morning dressed up casually in black, long pants, and a green shirt.

Seeing the teenage girl walking into the dining room made Zhang Li Xue do a double take. She could not help thinking that her sister-in-law was dressed especially nicely. Her hair was tied into a messy bun and Bai Xi Xi was wearing a tinted lip balm.

“Xi Xi, are you going out?” Zhang Li Xue asked.

“Mmm...” Bai Xi Xi paused at the breakfast on the table. Then, she poured herself a cup of hot soymilk and took a few sips.

“On a date?”

Bai Xi Xi was glad that she had properly swallowed her drinks. Otherwise, she might accidentally spit the soymilk on the table. Bai Xi Xi raised her head and looked at her sister-in-law speechlessly. “What date? Sister-in-law, don’t tease me. I’m just going out shopping with Xiao Tong and the others.”

“Then, do you have enough money?” Zhang Li Xue stood up, wanting to take her phone and transfer some money to Bai Xi Xi.

“Sister-in-law, I have them,” Bai Xi Xi spoke quickly. “My brother gave me some pocket money this month. I haven’t spent them that much.”

Zhang Li Xue chuckled. She reached for her phone anyway and tapped her fingers on the screen. “That was from your brother. This one is from me.”

“Sister-in-law...” Bai Xi Xi did not have the time to reject it. Before she knew it, her phone dinged with a notification. When she take a look, there was a money transfer notification from her sister-in-law.

“Go ahead and buy yourself a nice shirt or two.”

Bai Xi Xi pursed her lips into a thin line. She wanted to return the money, but Bai Xi Xi knew that this would only make her sister-in-law unhappy.

Thinking about it, it seemed that her sister-in-law loved giving her new clothes.

Lin Xiao Tong was the first to notice Bai Xi Xi. She turned around while holding a leaf-shaped necklace in her hand and asked, “Xi Xi, what do you think? Is this pretty?”

Lin Xiao Tong smiled happily. She turned to the shop assistant and asked her to wrap up the necklace.

“Yao Yao isn’t here?” Bai Xi Xi asked when she noticed that Du Yao Yao was not around.

Su You Lin glanced at her wristwatch. “There are still a few minutes left. Yao Yao should be here in a while. ”

Not too long after, the sound of footsteps was heard and Du Yao Yao finally showed up while panting a little bit as she has been running.

“I’m sorry, there was a bit of a delay at home.”

The others did not mind a little delay. After all, Du Yao Yao had shown up before their appointment time.

Once everyone was gathered, the four of them decided to visit a few shops to look around. Bai Xi Xi quickly noticed that Lin Xiao Tong was browsing through some men’s clothing. “Xiao Tong, what are you buying?”

Lin Xiao Tong turned around with a sheepish smile on her face. “It’s going to be my boyfriend’s birthday next week. Xi Xi, help me to think of what I should buy for him.”

Bai Xi Xi heaved a helpless sigh. It turned out that Lin Xiao Tong was going to buy her boyfriend a birthday gift.

Lin Xiao Tong had a few ideas on what she should buy. It was just that, she could not make her decision and wanted her friends’ opinion before buying them.

In the end, Lin Xiao Tong decided to buy a game for her boyfriend. It was something that her boyfriend had mentioned to her in the past and the shop assistant was telling them that this game was quite popular.

Once Lin Xiao Tong had bought the thing that she came for, the four of them continued to shop around and looked at the woman’s clothes.

Bai Xi Xi remembered her sister-in-law’s words and went to get herself some new shirts. No matter what clothes she bought, Bai Xi Xi knew that her sister-in-law would be happy when she spent her money.

After having their lunch together, the group of girls decided to head back home.

Instead of going back home, Bai Xi Xi decided to make a quick stop at the hospital to visit her brother and deliver some food that she bought from the restaurant earlier.
