He didn’t think the current stance of their relationship, required him to explain himself.

Shi Wenqian was not going to tolerate that reply from him and immediately put up a fight.

Pausing with the teacup in his hand, Zhang Renshu tilted his head to the side, to give her the side glance.

"Then do you want a divorce so that you will now have a reason to stay clear of matters that does not concern you?"

Zhang Renshu’s words were served on a platter of gold. His savage reply was a great comeback Shi Wenqian and Zhang Mingyu was not expecting to hear.

"What?" She exclaimed in shock as her hands dropped lifelessly at her sides.

Zhang Renshu shifted his gaze back to his food and resumed eating.

Letting the rims of the ceramic teacup touch his lips, he drank some of its content before putting it back on the table.

"Any time you want it, I can always serve you with the divorce papers. But if your trouble gets too much, I might dish the papers immediately."

Picking up another slice of toast and a little butter this time around, he warned, "Stay clear of matters that does not concern you and stop bothering my life."

Shi Wenqian was so out of it that she stood rooted at the same spot.

She felt her knees grow weak, but she couldn’t let her self sink into the chair so she clasped the edge of the table with her claws.

’Does he want a divorce so badly?’ She thought to herself.

While she was wallowing in fury, she became determined towards the end.

’Even if I’m bedridden, I will never sign any divorce papers. I Shi Wenqian, will die as your wife.’
