Damon’s forces rushed into the city, running past his lonely figure and walking toward into the city in silence. He has already given his soldiers the chance they need to take charge of the gates and the northern region of Linchester.

“Run as far as you can. Take the carriage and all the guards and push towards the northern gate of Linchester. My forces are there to welcome you” Damon said with a calm and caring tone, similar to that of Cecile.
