One look was all it took for Legolas to recognize Akela.
His eyes widened in shock. "The f*ck!"
Since coming under the tutorship of his master, Christensen was no longer a green horn, he had experienced a lot of dangerous situations and had seen a lot of beasts but so many wolves gathered in one place, this was a first.
Unlike humans, Wolves were not such complicated combatants.
Their main weapons were always their dangerous teeth and their claws. Using these 2 lethal weapons, the wolves of both sides clashed as blood soon started flowing through this territory in large quantities.
The battle was fierce and fast-paced.
Despite hearing the explanation from the Wind Wolf that he tamed already, Legolas still couldn’t wrap his head around it. Seeing it now though, he had no choice but to believe Akela’s crazy ambition.
He turned to face his student. "Akela intends to become a Wolf Lord".
"…"
Christensen didn’t know what to reply with.

Legolas slapped his shoulders. "We need to help him".
Without hesitation, Legolas focused in his mind as the telepathic connection between him and Akela grew. He communicated his thoughts to Akela and the wolf did not keep him waiting, he responded instantly.
Akela’s words were direct. "Master, I’m sorry for not telling you beforehand".
"Of course, I can do with your help but not direct help".
"The wolves will not acknowledge me if they know that a human helped me win the war, help me in indirect ways".
"All I want is to force Conan into a Vrka Yuddha".
"Once he accepts, you can’t help me then, I must fight him alone".
That was all that Legolas needed.

Bran flew out through the rainbow bridge as he calmly looked down at the battlefield. When Predator saw the war, his eyes constricted in unquenchable joy as his battle hormones became extra excited.
As soon as his master made his move, Christensen also did.
Leo arrived with a striking chilliness accompanying him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Wolf War continued raging aggressively.
It didn’t take long before the winning side became evident though. No matter how noble Akela’s motives were, in the end, the side with the most wolves had a higher chance of emerging out of this war victorious.
Conan’s wolves were winning.
As soon as Nymeria saw this, she didn’t need Akela’s orders first, she activated the next phase of their raid plan.
From the beginning, they knew that their numbers held no candle to Conan’s army and was why they got a lot of contingency plans ahead of time.
Nymeria gathered her light energy again and shot another rainbow-colored beacon into the air, this time, to alert someone at another part of the Steep Hills.
Not too far away from here, Pabu the Grizzly Bear got the signal.
As soon as he saw the signal, Pabu raised his massive butt from the ground as he focused ahead where the herd of Bisons foraged.
He grinned then he growled, then he pounced at them and roared.
"Roar!!!"
Hearing Pabu’s mighty roar, the Bison herd was startled.
Without hesitation, intimidated by the mighty Grizzly Bear, the hundreds of massive Bisons that formed this herd dared not stay still as they all turned and started charging in the only direction that their heads first went to.
They could hear the sound of clashes from ahead, but a distant threat did not deter them as much as the present threat of the mighty Pabu.
It took the Bisons only a few seconds before they arrived at Conan’s territory, without stopping, these scared Bisons stampeded their way through the wolves.
With the arrival of the Bisons, the war turned chaotic.
In the chaos, the side with lesser numbers thrived as Akela’s journey to Conan’s rock became faster. This was not all though as just a few seconds later, Pabu the mighty Grizzly Bear arrived on the battlefield.
He announced his arrival with a roar.
"Pabu!!!" He gave his signature shout.
Then without hesitation, this massive Bear that was far bigger than all the wolves started slamming his way through them like they were not there.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Each movement from him killed a wolf, he was that efficient.
Pabu’s example gave a certain ally an idea on how to help.

As soon as Legolas fused with Bran, he flew into the skies in search of more carriers of chaos. A few seconds later, through Bran’s incredible vision, he saw a herd of Elks also foraging at a field not too far from here.
In Dominator, Elks were dangerous since like every other beast, they could make use of super energy but Legolas was definitely not afraid of them.
He swooped down from the skies as gracefully as any bird of prey.

The Iron Feathers descended like arrows, injuring dozens of Elks as they tried to retaliate but due to Legolas’s speed and his air advantage, they could not touch him as he kept on harassing them.
After much harassment, their leader finally made the decision to escape. He tried to escape opposite the war but Legolas blocked him.
With no choice, the Elks escaped towards the location of the Wolf War.
Unlike Bisons, Elks were even more lethal carriers of chaos.
With their super-hard horns, these Elks stampeded into the battlefield as even more wolves died to them. This was also when Predator and Leo made their debut into the battle as Canon’s wolves started being hammered.
In just a few minutes, the winning side seemed to have switched.
This was when Akela made his official challenge as he climbed Conan’s rock. "Conan, your wolves are losing".
"They are dying for a lost cause".
"They are dying for a coward like you".
"Come out let’s fight to end this once and for all".
Conan completely ignored Akela’s words.
Despite the fact that every minute, more of his wolves died, he refused to acknowledge the Wind Wolf’s words as he stayed hiding inside his cave in the rock while his wolves fought on his behalf.
Over time, seeing his attitude, more wolves started deserting his side as they joined Akela’s entourage, tilting the victory more out of his reach.
Despite all this, Conan remained hiding.
Conan was as shameless as Nymeria pointed out before the war started, and though he hated it, Akela had no choice but to do as she suggested now.
He turned his eyes to glare at the Grey Wolf that led the wolves protecting the cave, this was Jezra, Conan’s Alpha pair.
Well-known for her deviousness, she loved torturing beasts, even wolves for pleasure and was hated by the wolves even more than they hated Conan.
Despite her horrible attitude, one truth was that Conan loved the Wolf.
Akela ground his teeth together as he exploded with speed towards her.
Boom!
Akela’s clash with the massive Grey Wolf was brief but eye-catching, using his superior speed and battle experience, he didn’t toy with his opponent but he completely violated her for 2 minutes before bringing an end to her life.
"Awoo!" "Awoo!"
The wolves behind Akela howled in celebration of his feat.
As they celebrated, this was when an ambush came.
Whoosh!
The shadow moved so fast that none of the Wolves was able to react on time, Conan arrived at a speed that far eclipsed Akela’s. The Wind Wolf was unable to react as he dug his teeth into his exposed neck.
Instantly after he attacked, Nymeria and Bone reacted.
Bone unleashed dozens of metals instantly that threatened to dig into the Shadow Wolf’s body, forcing the Wolf to back off as Akela fell down weakly.
A white light soon engulfed his body though as Nymeria started healing him.
"Cowards!" Conan roared.
"I thought this was a Vrka Yuddha, why do you interfere to save him?"
Nymeria turned to glare at her brother. "How far you have fallen".
"Sneak attacks are forbidden in Vrka Yuddhas".
This impulsive act from Conan already caused all the Wolves to stop fighting as their attention was drawn towards the rock where both contesting Alphas were.
With Conan out, all the requirements for a Vrka Yuddha were met.
In 2 minutes, Nymeria healed Akela as he stood up.
"I will forgive the ambush".
"I will not forgive you for Jezra’s death!" Conan growled.
Akela grinned. "So, do you accept the Vrka Yuddha?"
