“Get away from me!” Thanos annoyedly said as he snapped Stephen’s magic whip with the Power Stone, sending an energy explosion towards Stephen through his magic whip. Stephen immediately used his Defensive Spell and blocked the Power Stone energy. It was a great move as Stephen’s shield immediately shattered from the impact, but at the very least, he was unharmed!

Stephen immediately used a spell chain to tie Thanos down to the ground. He knew that Thanos could easily break free, but he had to try his best, for he didn’t have any other option. He ought to keep Thanos busy so that the Avengers could focus on their own task to stop Thanos.

Thanos was annoyed with Stephen’s trick and had enough with it, but as he wanted to power up his Power Stone, a series of energy bombardments hit his face directly!

“You are not getting what you want this time, freak!” Carol said as she flew in the sky, bombarding Thanos with energy bombs. She was pretty injured from Thanos’ last attack, but she knew that she had to keep this up until someone else could deal with Thanos.

“Interesting!” Thanos said as he smiled.

“We need to work together! We have the same enemy here!” Stephen shouted as he noticed that his chain was cut loose by Carol’s energy bombardment.

“Where is Dio? He was the only one who could deal with this freak right now!” Carol said as he looked at Stephen, ignoring the sorcerer’s rant.

“Dio? You know him?” Stephen said with a surprised expression as he didn’t expect this mysterious woman to recognize Dio too.

“Yeah, where is that bastard? Why isn’t he here yet?” Carol said annoyedly.

“Long story short, Dio was stuck in a trance after one of Thanos’ soldiers attacked him! We’re currently in the middle of searching for anything that could wake him up!” Stephen said worriedly.

“Alright, my name is Carol! If you aren’t afraid of dying, then stay here with me!” Carol said stoically.

“Doctor Strange!” Stephen said as he introduced himself.

“Dr. Strange? Nickname is popular on Earth, huh? Well, you can call me Captain Marvel!” Carol said solemnly.

Stephen just sighed as he knew that Carol misunderstood his name, but he knew this wasn’t time to explain something trivial like this.

“Incoming!” Carol sternly said as she noticed Thanos finally threw another energy blast with his Power Stone. As Carol wanted to step away from Thanos’ attack, she noticed that Strange was heading straight towards Thanos’ attack!

Stephen knew that it would be devastating for the Wakanda soldiers who were still fighting behind him if he just dodged this attack, so he ought to direct Thanos’ attack somewhere else! Stephen immediately created numerous Mirror Dimension Portals to direct Thanos’s attack inside.

It successfully swallowed Thanos’ attack, and at the same time, The Mirror Dimension portal was still standing as it wasn’t destroyed by Thanos’ attack! Thanos was annoyed with this dimensional portal and immediately used his Space Stone, smashing the Mirror Dimension Portal.

Thanos clenched his fist as the Space Stone discharged a wave of energy that gathered all the broken Dimension Portal Fragment as the Mirror Dimension Portal was shattered into million pieces. He then turned the Fragmented Shard into a cyclone that reduced anything it touched into dust!

At the same time, Stephen immediately created a dynamic spell and hit the cyclone with his new spell, turning it into countless beautiful butterflies that flew away to the sky. Thanos was startled for a moment as it was such a beautiful scenery. Even Carol was surprised that Strange had such a great power in that bony body of his.

When she was taken away from Earth, no one had this kind of complex power! Even when she met with Dio, he didn’t tell Carol about any change in Earth! But it was certain in Carol’s eyes that Strange was an important figure for Earth’s defence!

But as Thanos and Carol were still surprised by the scenery, Stephen had prepared another spell, and this time, countless arms appeared from his back before each arm popped out of Stephen’s back as they turned into another Stephen himself! So now, countless Dr. Strange floated in the sky, ready to attack Thanos with their magic.

These countless Strange immediately created a magic whip and immediately tied down Thanos with it, imprisoning Thanos inside the magic whips!

“Are you just gonna stand there something? I already pinned him down here!” Stephen said to Carol annoyedly.

Carol immediately returned to her senses and was quite embarrassed that Stephen caught her in her emotional moment. So, Carol immediately launched a series of attacks on Thanos, who was still caught by innumerable magic whips.

But it didn’t last long as Thanos destroyed the Magic Whips with his Power Stone and created a barrier from Space Stone energy! Thanos clutched his fist once more, sending a wave of Purple Energy that blasted Carol and Stephen away from him. the countless Strange’s illusion on the sky was destroyed into bubbles as they couldn’t withstand Thanos’ power!

“Your petty tricks end here!” Thanos said annoyedly. At the same time, Stephen and Carol knew that the gap between them and Thanos was too big! The cyclone that Thanos created earlier would be a devastating attack for Carol if Strange weren’t there to help her, but at the same time, Stephen Strange was powerless against Thanos’ Power Stone!

Fortunately, Dr. Strange’s mission wasn’t to kill Thanos but to distract him until Dio was awoken from his trance. His mission right now was to assist Captain Marvel in dragging Thanos away from completing his Infinity Gauntlet. The longer the distraction, the better, as it meant there was more time for the rest of the Avengers to figure things out.

“Bind his left hand, don’t let him break free!” Stephen ordered his Cape of Levitation. The cape immediately flew towards Thanos in a hurry and wrapped itself on Thanos’ left hand. Thanos immediately tried to remove the cape, but he was soon attacked by Carol and Strange to further distract him.

As long as the Infinity Gauntlet was bound by the Cape of Levitation, it wouldn’t be usable, allowing Carol and Stephen to attack Thanos more efficiently. Carol, in particular, would be able to make a bolder move as she realised that the Infinity Gauntlet was out of action.

This way, Thanos was kept busy from completing his goal, but no one knew how long it would take before Thanos snapped!
