But everyone was ready for him. The Avenger surrounded Thanos as they have returned to their tip-top condition!

Carol and Dio took the vanguard and rushed towards Thanos bravely. Carol knew that her priority was to seize Thanos’ left hand to prevent him from using the Infinity Gauntlet however he pleased. Dio consumed his own Hamon Energy to force the Aether to lock Thanos’ right arms from moving so Carol could do her job.

The other Avengers also joined the fray to distract Thanos, making sure that he couldn’t escape Dio and Carol’s clutch.

“Strange!” Dio shouted as a signal for Stephen to do his part. Stephen immediately returned to the battlefield and drew his magic circle. Mantis, who was brought to the battlefield, immediately fell from a portal directly above Thanos’ head. She quickly stretched out her hands to each side of Thanos’ head to control his emotion!

“AAAAHHHH!” Mantis screamed as soon as she put her hands on Thanos’ head. Although her ability was super overpowered, it also had its own flaw, which was what was happening right now. She received strong feedback from Thanos’ emotions that she couldn’t comprehend right away. At this moment, Mantis was overcome with Anger, Madness, Sorrow, and other negative emotions that Thanos felt right now.

Even so, they knew that Mantis’ power wouldn’t work that well on Thanos as he was always aware of his surroundings, so they ought to make sure that Mantis didn’t get any interference from anyone!

Therefore, Everyone didn’t take advantage of the current situation to kill Thanos directly because no one could guarantee that they could finish off Thanos with only one strike! It was safer for everyone to take out the Infinity Gloves away from Thanos first.

“Great! We have to let this monster know what pain really is!” Peter Quill suddenly rushed forward towards Thanos. “I never expect a monster like you to know about sadness! Where is Gamora, you monster! Tell me right now!” Peter Quill said furiously.

“She is my Gamora!” Thanos said as he faded in and out of consciousness. He almost fell asleep, but the Infinity Stones on his hand was still glowing brightly.

“Scott! Take this guy away from here! I don’t want him to waste our effort!” Dio shouted annoyedly. Dio made sure to restrain Thanos’ right arm using Aether’s power, but the exhaustion caught up with him.

“Let me go! I want to mess this guy up!” Quill shouted as he didn’t care about the current situation anymore! He was in so much pain as he didn’t know what Thanos had done to Gamora!

“Hey, hey! Calm down!” Tony said in a hurry as he noticed the strange atmosphere around Quill. But the furious Quill immediately raised his hands to punch Thanos’ face!

“Get away from here!” Dio shouted as he immediately controlled the Aether to push Quill away from Thanos! This, however, rose animosity among the remaining Guardian of the Galaxy as they pointed their weapons at Dio.

“Stop all this nonsense! If you want to die so badly, I could kill you myself! But right now, I need this guy to fall asleep! Otherwise, we are all going to die!” Dio shouted annoyedly. Rocket was annoyed by Dio’s word, but he couldn’t say that Quill’s attitude earlier was rational either! This was their chance to take down Thanos, and no one should interrupt this chance!

Nebula, who was enraged and wanted to kill Thanos with her own hands, also fell silent as she didn’t want all these efforts to go down the drain. But Quill still couldn’t see reason and immediately pointed his gun at Thanos!

“You are one damned fool!” Dio said as he immediately turned the Aether that was restraining Thanos into a shield to protect Thanos from Quill. They were so close to taking off the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos’ hand, and he needed everyone to stop interfering right now!

Fortunately, T’challa was fast enough as he protected Dio with his body. His Black Panther armour immediately absorbed the impact from Quill’s gun, but still, it staggered him a little. Dio was furious because Quill couldn’t be reasoned with, so he threw [Reaper’s Gaze] towards Quill in anger! He didn’t need a hot-headed guy like Quill foiling his plan to save the universe!

At this moment, he really wanted Quill to die so that all of the universes could live!

Others didn’t expect Quill and Dio to duke it out right now, so Nebula, Rockets, Drax, and Groot immediately jumped to save Quill! But at the same time, the Mind Stone that was freed from its Aether cage immediately glowed brightly. Mantis’ invasion inside Thanos’ head caused the Mind Stone to activate its defensive mechanic!

Mantis immediately screamed and fell down from Thanos’ head! Without Mantis’ power keeping him at bay, Thanos immediately recovered and opened his eyes!
