Javier’s eyes again looked at his brother like a friend and felt something. He sensed traces of hesitation in Ellen’s voice and how his face told him- you’re thinking in the wrong direction.

“What else did you find about this girl?” he asked but this time, it was irritating. “The lady already has someone in her life and that isn’t the father of her child; their faces don’t match. She is also going to marry but before that, the family wants her to acquire the family business as they have reserved one of their companies for her.”

“She will be getting one as a part of her heritage. Now it is a mystery which company will be given to her to manage. Who knows what qualification she holds or not.” Ellen was vague and uncertain. He had hardly put his fingers upon such a potion.

It would be a waste to even know that a lady like her could manage the company. Moreover, if she already had someone in her life then it would lose a burden on Javier’s shoulders without severing the ties with the family like them.

Meanwhile, Javier didn’t say much. He kept himself shut and only nodded. Finally, he dug his face to look outside of the windows to see the clouds and sky, as his heartfelt relief. ‘Why do I feel that this trip will change a lot of things for me?’

The next few hours of travel went smoothly, either reading documents or taking a nap.

When the pilot announced their landing, Javier woke the sleeping Ariana who had turned energetic because of such a long and sound sleep. Her round eyes looked at her father in anticipation, “Are we meeting Aunt and uncle too?”

“There are so many aunt and uncles, Ari. Whom do you refer to?” This time, Ellen tried to brew conversation to gain the little girl’s attention on this uncle of hers, “Uncle Ryan and Aunt Amy. You know she told me that she will meet me when we come to the country.”

On seeing her excitement, a chuckle left Ellen’s face. He was single without any involvement with girls. At his age, he should have a few kids but it wasn’t in his mind for now. “Yes, you will meet them. But for now, let’s get down to meet your great-grandfathers and grandfathers and others.”

The plane safely made its way and stopped where Javier and Ariana, being together, stepped from the stairs. Javier was wearing a black long coat over a high-neck white sweater. Besides him, Ariana was wearing her small leather boots and a dark blue colored knee-length dress.

Coming closer, their eyes itched to see four cars on their way and they stopped on the opposite side. Quickly, the bodyguards opened the backdoor of the cars and he saw one of his uncles stepping down. From the other car, his eyes caught his grandfather coming down with the help of the bodyguard and holding his stick tightly.

He walked with Ariana to the other side and greeted him with a hug. To his grandfather, he bowed respectively, and Ariana followed Javier’s actions. “Greetings, Grandfather. I hope your health is good.”

“Aye child. Drop such formality with me now! You are at home so relax!” the old master said in a cheerful yet authentic tone. Then a huge grin appeared on his lips when he saw Ariana, “My child! Do you know how much I missed you?”

“Hello, great-grandfather. How are you?” Ariana stepped out and the old master patted her small head. “child, you have grown up since I saw you last time. Hmm..children nowadays are growing fast.”

“I have him as my daddy. How can I not grow fast?” Ariana blinked her eyes and the old master laughed his heart out. “I get you!” he then saw his grandson talking with his son and said, “Let us go to the mansion now. We can have the rest of the talks there.”

“Umm..Grandfather. I have booked a hotel for a few days. Since I will have constant meetings, I would like to stay there along with Ariana.” Javier knew how much weight it put on him. He was back in his maternal home country and a place where he attended his university. However, he wasn’t interested in doing daily car tours which could be solved by staying at the place where his frequent meetings would happen.

As expected, the old master’s mood turned gloomy. “Why are you treating yourself as outsiders now, Javier”

“I’m not. I will come back to the mansion and stay for a few days after work is done. Till that time, to stay in a hotel room. Don’t worry, I’ll stay with you and Ari the same. But for now, I need to go to the hotel.” Javier explained and then his eyes moved to see his uncle. “I need to talk to you about something. Shall we share the car?”

“Sure. Ariana will come with grandfather and I’m sure Ellen can accompany them.” His uncle said and Javier nodded his head._{𝒇𝘳𝐞𝚎𝓌𝑒𝑏𝒏𝑜𝙫ℯl.c𝚘𝒎}

The family left in the cars where the old master was happy to have some time with Ariana, while Javier talked with his uncle about some serious issues.

He had been looking outside the window since he entered the states. It was a different feeling to come here after everything that happened in his life. Chaos always knocked him down and here he was from where his love story started.

Tearing his gaze away, Javier took a deep breath out, looked again at his uncle, and asked, “I heard about a huge business empire set up by the royal family. Prince Arthur is getting married and is interested in calling us too?”

“Oh about them. Yes, they are a huge fortune and fortunately, we share close ties because of your late mother. Arthur had suddenly decided to marry and this was indeed shocking but his plans...” He was undocumented and then he looked at the unsettled frown on his nephew’s face.

“Is there something that is bothering you Javier?” he asked cautiously Javier took a deep breath to not let his curiosity come to his face and said, “I believe they have some motive to call us, uncle. They want something from us...But I couldn’t understand what.”
