“Ok.” Kate nodded.
It was just a bag of chocolate. Anyway, the business that Mr. White could get from his deal with Kyle would be even more.

Kyle watched Kate ate the chocolate and there was traces of melt chocolate on Kate’s lips. His eyes deepened slightly as he raised his hand, wiping the corner of Kate’s lips. “You eat like a child.”
“I’m not a kid.” Kate pouted and looked at Kyle’s hand, wiping the chocolate from her face. Her cheek reddened in embarrassment.
“Only a kid will say that.” Kyle smirked and licked his own finger, tasting the chocolate. “You’re right, it’s quite sweet.”
Kate looked at Kyle as her cheek reddened even more.
She felt that Kyle must have woke up at the wrong side of the bed today. How come he looked even more stunning and sexy today?
She had strong evidence that Kyle was trying to seduce her today.
Watching Kate’s appearance, Kyle chuckled lightly. At first, he felt that taking more missions was such a hassle, but it didn’t seem to be that bad either.
In this mission, they didn’t have to go to the wilderness and fought those annoying giant mutated animals but instead having a break and walked on the street, enjoying each other’s presence.
It didn’t seem so bad.
The two of them walked together, hands holding with each other.
There was barely anyone who were so free and could walk like them. Many other people in City C were busy with the reconstruction or their own work that they had.
Not everyone was going out to fight these giant mutated animals but also to reconstruct the city.
It looked quite similar to City E.
Kate and Kyle walked comfortably, enjoying their short walk.

Before long, Kyle stopped in front of a candy store. It seemed that City C’s development was not bad as even a candy store could be opened. However, the candy store didn’t seem to have that many items yet.
“Welcome,” the store owner said when he saw Kyle and Kate walked in. “Do you want candies?”
“Give me a box.” Kyle pointed to the strawberry lollipop at the side. If he was not wrong, this one was Kate’s favorite.
“Okay.” The store owner smiled.
“Do you want one for yourself too, Kyle?” Kate asked. She had never seen Kyle eating any types of sweet in the past, so she was not sure of his preferences. Though, she guessed that he might not really like sweet.
“I don’t like eating candies.” Kyle arched his eyebrows.
“Not at all?” Kate was stunned.
Kyle thought for a while as he swept his gaze across the counter. There were several types of candies there. He finally pointed to one of them that had strawberry flavor. “Give me several of this too.”
“Yes.” The store owner kept a smile on his face.
As the owner of a sweet store, he had been immune with countless dog food that was thrown to him by countless couples who came here. Even if he felt sour inside, he still had to keep the same perfect smile on his face.
If he didn’t, there was no way his business would be going well.
“The price is….”
Kyle paid for the candies and handed the box of lollipop to Kate while he ate the other one. The sweet taste permeated inside his mouth, making him frown for a moment. He didn’t really like the sweet taste of these candies.
On the other hand, Kate took out one of the lollipop and put it into her mouth. The sweet taste made her smile.
Watching Kate like that made Kyle’s eyes deepened. He felt that this young woman was trying to tempt him, yet he also knew that Kate would not think that way. He spoke out, his voice was a bit lower, “Does it taste good?”
“Yes. It tastes good.” Kate nodded and looked at Kyle. “Do you want one?”
“No.” Kyle shook his head.
Kate licked her lips while savoring the lollipop taste, thinking about the candy that Kyle ate not long ago.
“How about the candy you eat? Does it taste good?”
“It’s sweet,” Kyle replied calmly.
“How sweet?”
“Want to taste it?” Kyle asked, shortening the distance between him and Kate imperceptibly without the young woman noticing it.
Kate thought about the few candies that Kyle bought and nodded her head naively. The lollipop was taken out of her mouth as she held it on her hand.
Kyle smirked and the next moment, he was already in front of Kate. Before Kate could say anything, Kyle had already pressed his lips to the young woman’s lips.
It felt really soft.
Kate blinked her eyes in surprise. Kyle’s face was really close to her, allowing her to see his eyelids fluttering. She closed her eyes and responded to Kyle’s kiss.
The kiss tastes of strawberry.
It’s really sweet.
