From the tree branch, his pair of golden eyes could see something moving underground. It was something big and long, and he thought he knew what it was. He smirked as he continued to survey his surroundings, but then he discovered that there were many things underground, and he finally realized something.

“Turns out that bastard isn’t that stupid. There aren’t any guards to be seen around the river in this mountain, but there are guards underground. Quite clever, ah,” Wu Jinhai once again spoke to himself, but his face that was hidden behind the golden mask remained calm despite knowing the danger around him.

That was why they couldn’t walk on two legs like normal humans, and they could only use their bodies to move on the ground.

However, unlike ordinary snakes, Demon Snakes could also jump in the air using their tails, and their main weapon was their venomous tongue. They did have a harmful tongue, and if they managed to catch their prey with their tongue, the tongue would absorb the prey’s energy, and in the end, the demon would swallow the corpse without leaving a trace.
