676 He was Not as Crazy

Without waiting for his aunt to say a word, Bai Xiang ran over to the basketball court to watch Fu Chen’s practice.

Previously, Bai Xiang had played a match with Fu Chen once and knew that this big brother was a classmate of his aunt. Therefore, Bai Xiang was not afraid to approach the man.

Bai Xi Xi heaved a long sigh upon seeing that Bai Xiang had run over to the basketball court. She turned to Zhang Qi Lin and spoke, “Qi Lin, let’s go and take a look first.”

Zhang Qi Lin naturally did not have an objection. After all, the person who wanted to eat ice cream was his elder brother. He was just tagging along.

The three of them stood outside the basketball court as they watched Fu Chen dribbling the ball before he jumped up and scored.

Suddenly, someone tugged at her sleeve.

Bai Xi Xi turned, thinking that it was the brothers. However, the person who stood in front of her was someone else. “Fu Ying?”

“Are you here with your brother?” Bai Xi Xi asked.

“Un.” The little girl nodded. “The others are here too.” Fu Ying pointed toward the castle-shaped slide in the middle of the playground. “Everyone is playing over there.”

Bai Xiang and Zhang Qi Lin saw that their aunt was talking to a girl and were curious about her. Bai Xiang looked at his aunt and spoke, “Aunt, who is this?”

“Uh...” Bai Xi Xi glanced at Fu Chen who was still practicing his skill in the basketball court. “This is Fu Ying. She’s my classmate’s little sister.”

“That Big Brother who played basketball?” Bai Xiang asked.

“Un. It’s him.”

Fu Ying looked at the two tall boys in front of her. “Hello. My name is Fu Ying.”

Bai Xi Xi looked at Bai Xiang and spoke, “Bai Cai, she should be around your age.”

“Bai Cai?” Fu Ying looked at Bai Xiang curiously.

It was then that Bai Xi Xi realized that she had made a mistake. She should not call this name in public. Bai Xi Xi coughed and decided to ignore Fu Ying’s curious glance.

However, when she turned to Bai Xiang, Bai Xi Xi could see that the little boy was furious.

“I’m sorry.” Bai Xi Xi apologized. “I slipped. How about I treat you to two scoops of ice cream?” Bai Xi Xi patted her nephew to coax him.

Bai Xiang puffed his cheek. He gave the girl in front of him a look over, wondering why this girl seemed a little too close to his aunt. He clearly heard this girl addressing his aunt as Pretty Sister.

Fu Ying stared at Bai Xi Xi, wondering what did she just whisper to the boy. “Pretty Sister, you haven’t come to our house for a long time. Next time, you have to visit us again. My siblings missed you a lot.”

Bai Xi Xi smiled. She did not expect that the siblings would still think of her even though their meeting was very brief.

Of course, Bai Xi Xi was unaware that the siblings were all thinking about the noodle that she had cooked the last time she came to their house.

Just then, Fu Ying stood on tiptoed and waved her hand around at her brother. “Big brother!”

Fu Chen was just about to pick up the ball on the ground when he heard the familiar voice. He looked up and was surprised to see Bai Xi Xi and her nephews. His little sister, Fu Ying was with them.

He snapped out of his trance and walked over to their side with his gaze trailing on Bai Xi Xi. “Why are you here?”

“Big Brother, this is a coincidence,” Bai Xiang spoke. “We were on our way to get some ice cream when we noticed you here.”

Fu Chen glanced at Bai Xi Xi. He recalled the last time he had some ice cream with his class monitor. Fu Chen made a note that his class monitor liked the ice cream from this shop.

“You are practicing basketball!” Bai Xiang spoke again. His gaze was on the basketball in Fu Chen’s hand.

Zhang Qi Lin looked at his brother and sighed. The moment his brother saw the basketball, he would have the urge to play. It was the same with his mother and grandfather.

Most of his family members were basketball crazy. Although he too knew some skills and learned to play them from an early age, he was not as crazy as everyone else.

Zhang Qi Lin thought that he was one of the normal people around the house.

“Big brother, can we play with you?” Bai Xiang spoke. He looked at Fu Chen, almost pleading.

Fu Chen chuckled. “Sure.” He tossed the ball to Bai Xiang and the little boy caught it with ease. “Go ahead and play first.”

Bai Xiang smiled brightly. He turned to his little brother and urged him to accompany him to play.

Zhang Qi Lin wanted to decline. But before he could say a word, his brother had already pulled him to the center of the basketball court.

The ball was tossed to Zhang Qi Lin. Seeing the basketball in his hand made him sigh. In the end, Zhang Qi Lin decided to give in to his brother.

Fu Chen watched as the two boys run around on the basketball court. Seeing the way they handled the basketball would always amaze him as the two boys were very young. Even though they were short, they knew how to use their height to their advantage.

After watching them for a while, Fu Chen turned to look at Bai Xi Xi again. Seeing his class monitor without her school uniform always gave him a strange feeling.

Their gazes met and Fu Chen flashed her a smile. “Class Monitor, are you here to play that one-on-one match with me?”
