684 Test Result

As school started again, Bai Xi Xi and her classmates began to feel anxious. Their test result will come out and everyone was worried about their result.

There were only a few students when Bai Xi Xi arrived at class. She glanced at the empty seat beside her and wondered if Fu Chen was going to show up at school.

She was about to lower her head and continue to read her book again when Bai Xi Xi noticed that Fu Chen had slipped something onto her table.

Bai Xi Xi blinked when she saw a small piece of chocolate on her table. She looked at Fu Chen again with an inquiring look on her face.

Fu Chen let out a cough. “This is from my sister. Last night, our mom came home with some snacks for the kids. Fu Ying said that she wanted to share this with you.”

Bai Xi Xi glanced at the chocolate and smiled when she remembered that adorable girl. She reached to take the chocolate and hid it in her pocket. “Then, you have to thank your sister for me.”

Just then, the group of girls who often look for Fu Chen came to their table.

They looked at Bai Xi Xi before shifting their eyes to her hand.

“Fu Chen, what did you give to Xi Xi earlier?” Tang Yu spoke. When Fu Chen raised his head to look at her, Tang Yu immediately flashed him a smile.

“It’s nothing. I found an eraser on the side of my table. I thought that it belonged to her.”

Bai Xi Xi glanced at Fu Chen, wondering why did he not tell the truth to the girls.

“Is it?” Tang Yu did not seem as if she believed in Fu Chen’s words.

“Of course.” Fu Chen nodded.

Tang Yu and the other girls were still doubtful.

Bai Xi Xi had the usual cool look on her face, while Fu Chen was looking at them in confusion. Seeing the look on Fu Chen’s face, they had no other choice but to believe his words.

After all, they were too far away just now to see what Fu Chen had slipped to Bai Xi Xi.

Fu Chen would not lie to them without a reason, right?

Since Fu Chen said that he was giving Bai Xi Xi an eraser, they could only believe their words.

“Our homeroom teacher is coming,” Bai Xi Xi reminded them.

Bai Xi Xi stood up and walked over to the front. Then, she walked around the classroom to hand over the test paper to everyone else.

Once the students received their papers back, they began to whisper among themselves again. Bai Xi Xi could hear their voices well. Some of them were happy with their result and some of them were not so happy.

Bai Xi Xi walked past Lin Xiao Tong’s table and passed her the test papers. “Xiao Tong, good job this time.”

Lin Xiao Tong’s eyes lit up. She checked on her result and the smile on her face became wider, knowing that her hard work was paid off.

She had recently gotten herself into a relationship and Li Xiao Tong wanted to prove that she could still have a good result even when she had a boyfriend.

Because of that, Lin Xiao Tong has been working extra hard.

Bai Xi Xi walked around the class to hand over the papers to everyone else. Then, she finally returned to her seat with Fu Chen’s test paper in her hand.

She glanced at Fu Chen’s result before sliding the paper to his table. “Classmate Fu Chen, you need to work hard.”

Fu Chen chuckled upon hearing her words.

He inhaled a few deep breaths before he finally looked at his result. The number on the papers made him stunned. His result was not that great, but it was better than he had expected, especially because he did not get to study well before the test.

At the front, their classroom teacher was briefing them about their result.

Teacher Du announced a few names who excel in each subject. Then, she called a few names who needed to attend some extra classes.

Fu Chen heaved a breath of relief, knowing that he won’t have to attend this class. He felt that if he had to attend the class, he would not have the time to help his mother to look after the kids.
