685 Better Than Him

After briefing the students about their test results, Teacher Du made an announcement about some activities that the school will hold soon.

Bai Xi Xi sat in her seat as she jotted down what Teacher Du said.

It has become her habit for her to take note of everything so that she would not forget anything.

Then, the lesson started and the students turned quiet again. It was during the lunch break that the mood in the class began to loosen up again.

Bai Xi Xi gave the man a look over. Then, the frown on her face deepened. “What are you trying to do? Move.”

There were a few other students passing by. However, when they saw Jian Chi, everyone’s footsteps became a little faster.

Jian Chi was a well-known troublemaker and no one wanted to do anything that displeased him.

The students saw that Jian Chi was trying to make trouble for Bai Xi Xi. Even if they wanted to help her, they would not dare to do anything that would upset that man.

“Class Monitor, you seemed quite familiar with that newly transferred student.”

Bai Xi Xi was surprised to find out that Jian Chi was looking for her because of Fu Chen. Even though she knew that Jian Chi did not like Fu Chen, Bai Xi Xi would never think that this man would come to look for her.

“What do you want from me?” Bai Xi Xi asked cautiously. “If there is nothing important, then, I will have to leave now.”

She did not believe that Jian Chi would dare to do anything to her.

“Class Monitor, I just hope that you would stop being too friendly with Fu Chen. That is all,” Jian Chi said. He had seen Bai Xi Xi and Fu Chen talking in the morning and was displeased to see them close.

His eyes lit up as soon as Fu Chen saw her. However, Fu Chen did not walk over to Bai Xi Xi to initiate a conversation. Instead, he waited for Bai Xi Xi to walk a few distances before he finally walked in the same direction as Bai Xi Xi.

There were a lot of people at school and Fu Chen did not want to create any rumors and made trouble for Bai Xi Xi, especially after Tang Yu was unhappy that he had given Bai Xi Xi something early that morning.

Just like that, the two of them were walking together while minding their distance.
