The number of students walking along the street decreased once they were farther away from the school.

He had no relationship with Tang Yu or any other girls. However, Fu Chen could see that they were interested in him and worried that they would cause trouble for others who were close to him.

Bai Xi Xi smiled. “So, you are aware that you are quite popular in school.”

Fu Chen looked embarrassed by her comment. “Class Monitor, please don’t tease me.”

He did not want the attention, but what can he do about them?

“If you are not comfortable with them, then why didn’t you say a word?”

“It was not as if I have never said a word,” Fu Chen said. “But it did not seem as if they were listening.” He met her gaze and heaved a sigh. “I did not want to be too hard on them. In the end, we are all classmates.”

His face darkened, thinking that some guys were following them with bad intentions.

Most of the students in Y City High School were from the rich family. Fu Chen thought that it was not strange for anyone to target the students.

As the thought came to his mind, Fu Chen began to feel that it was fortunate that he decided to wait for Bai Xi Xi and walk together with her. What would happen if she was alone and met those bad people?

“I don’t know. His face was covered.” The frown on Bai Xi Xi’s face deepened. She felt that the man’s walking posture was somewhat familiar. Was it someone they knew?
