708 Do You Think He’s in Trouble?

The next day after school, everyone was leaving in excitement, knowing that there will be a sports meet and mini carnival at school.

It made her realize just how petty Jian Chi could be. How can he be that insecure?

Bai Xi Xi raised her head and saw that Lin Xiao Tong was walking in her direction.

“I already cleaned up the board,” Lin Xiao Tong said. “Should we go and throw the trash together?”

It was Lin Xiao Tong’s turn to throw the trash and as usual, Bai Xi Xi would accompany her friend whenever Lin Xiao Tong needed to go to the garbage room.

In the past, Lin Xiao Tong would go alone to throw the trash. However, she was once harassed by a few boys who thought that Lin Xiao Tong was easy to bully because of her petite figure. Since then, Lin Xiao Tong did not dare to go alone.

The two of them made a quick stop at the teacher’s room. Then, they went to throw the trash together.

As they were walking, the two of them were discussing the upcoming sports meet.

“Xi Xi, are you going to join the 400 meters sprint again?” Lin Xiao Tong asked.

“Mmm... I haven’t made up my mind,” Bai Xi Xi said. “But if no one else is joining, then, I will consider joining them. What about you?”

Bai Xi Xi would rather join the basketball team, but they did not have a competition for girls.

While walking back to their class, the two of them decided to use the path that would lead them to the basketball court.

As they were passing over the area, Bai Xi Xi caught sight of Fu Chen and a few boys nearby. Bai Xi Xi frowned as she wondered if Fu Chen was finally going to make his move and asked the boys to let him play for the team.

“Xi Xi, look at that.” Lin Xiao Tong pointed in Fu Chen’s direction. “Isn’t that Fu Chen? Why is he there with the boys? Do you think he’s in trouble?”

Bai Xi Xi pursed her lips. She observed the situation for a while and thought that the way the boys were looking at Fu Chen did not seem right.

“Xi Xi, do you think they are fighting?” Lin Xiao Tong asked. “Those boys were closer to Jian Chi before. It couldn’t be that they wanted to get back to Fu Chen because Jian Chi had to be transferred away, right? Should we go and report this to a teacher?”

Bai Xi Xi held Lin Xiao Tong’s arms before the girl could turn around and headed to the teacher’s room. “Hold on. Let’s not act rashly. It’s better for us to know what is going on before we report this to a teacher.”

The basketball court was not too far from the teacher’s room. Bai Xi Xi thought that it would not be too late for them to go and find a teacher when the boys started to fight.

Lin Xiao Tong decided to listen to Bai Xi Xi’s words.

Worried that something might happen to Fu Chen, the two of them walked over to the basketball court to figure out what was going on.

As they came closer, Bai Xi Xi could hear that the two of them were talking about basketball. From the snippets of their conversation, Fu Chen made his request that he wanted to join the basketball team. However, the boys were not very happy. They did not want to allow Fu Chen to join them.
