The two armies were over ten miles away from each other but the forces of death could not be seen completely, those not in use were hidden within the fog lurking around Klien and Lucy, leaving Damon unaware of what may be hidden within their arsenal!

“Don’t panic, we are the chosen’s of the one, and warriors of the God of destruction... We will not be defeated!” Damon’s voice boomed as his divine aura spread across the battlefield, creating a soothing effect on his soldiers calming them down.

Damon flicked his hands and the war drums began sounding while the war weapons were pushed forward.

Thanks to the lack of mana humans had no other choice but to result to building sophisticated weapons to be able to keep up with these demonic creatures.

And about five thousand bulky soldiers completely covered in thick white armor and towering Shields into their hands pushed forward while the war weapons withdrew and spear men followed up the first line of defense.

Damon stood at the center of his forces as souls surged into his body, gathering to create smaller pieces of his god’s soul.

Damon stomped his feet on the ground and his divine aura washed over the soldiers strengthening them. He watched in silence as the enemy forces raced forward and he held his breath in silence. What is about to happen will be far deadlier than what has taken place already.

His eyes darted around the battlefield as Damon felt like there was something he is missing , that’s why he insisted on staying at the center of his forces. The fog that came with the forces of death was a perfect cover, making it impossible to know what the enemy has to offer. This explains why Linchester fell so fast after the invasion and for this reason alone, Damon could not afford to be reckless.
